STUDY MEDICINE IN CHINA & WORK AS A MEDICAL DOCTOR IN AMERICA

Accelerated Degree Program for Medical Doctors Become a doctor in 6 years

To become a medical doctor and practice as an MD in America you must meet many requirements, such as:

  1. 4 years of pre-medical study after high school
  2. Pass MCAT exam and comp;ete for admissions with more graducates than available seats
  3. An additional 4 years of clinical, that’s a total of 8 years of school
  4. Complete USMLE certification (IT may take and extra year in most cases and residency
  5. Work as an MD in America

To become a medical doctor and practice in America from Capital Medical University Beijing you will need to complete the following:

  1. Study a total of 6 years after high school and get an MBBS degree in medicine
  2. NO MCAT REQUIRED
  3. Complete USMLE 3 steps certification while studying to save time (an extra year in most cases) and residency
  4. Work as an MD in America

At Capital Medical, we teach over 67 courses from several disciplines of clinical medicine and surgery in classrooms and in our 15 teaching hospitals with an integrated curriculum that is structured to get you a match at a residency program in the USA. Students will take courses such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurology, preventive medicine, cardiology, nuclear medicine, surgery, OBGYN, pediatrics, infectious diseases. Additionally, USMLE preparatory courses are taught to prepare students for the States Medical Licensing Exam, residency, and to become an MD.
